We ran in different circles at school. You seem really sweet, I wish I got to know you better back then. Happy new year!

Awwh that’s so sweet! If I knew who you were I’m sure I’d say the same! Happy new year to you too! X

Why do they do that? Why do they shut us out? Why can't they be honest and let us know one way or the other what we mean to them or if we don't? It hurts so much to be strung along without release one way or another. It exhausts all emotions and hopes, but then there's something we see inside them that we hold on to and maybe if we just keep trying they might give us something worth floating along, direction-less, for. What does it mean if he says nothing? Do I carry on trying?

I honestly don’t know! I think deep down they are scared. I heard a quote the other day - ‘the only reason we do anything is through love or fear’. I didn’t give up and carried on trying - I’m now in an amazing relationship and he finally told me how he felt. He admitted he was scared and nervous. I would say don’t give up - if he has shown you signs then dig deeper. If its meant to be it will be! Good luck! X
